Presidential Ramblings:
By: Jay Munson
The holiday season is quickly coming to a close. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a safe and happy New Year. This year should prove to be an exciting year. We have the 69th Sportsman show right around the corner. Along with the Sportsman show we are have our holding our annual gun raffle fundraiser. This year’s gun raffle will be a little different from years past. There will be two guns raffled off this year, with the tickets being less expensive. You will find 3 tickets that have mailed with this newsletter. It would be great if each of you would purchase the tickets sent to you and then see Nancy or myself at the supper meet for more tickets. If each member was to sell only 10 tickets would be able to sell out. Please help us make this fundraiser successful by doing your part.
We are also looking at the possibility of having a golf tournament this summer. This would be a new adventure but could prove to be another worthwhile fundraiser. If anyone has experience settings up a tournament, please see me ASAP.
Supper Meeting: Jan 4th, 6:00 P.M. at the clubhouse
The meal this month will be ham and the speaker will be Joe Clark. Joe is an Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Advisory Council Member who represents Penobscot County. This will be you chance to express your cares and concerns.
I hope to all of you there.
