PCCA Newsletter for June 2009

Spring is now here and I welcome the black flies. Many of you have been fishing so far and I have heard that some of our members have been successful. In addition several of our members have tagged out during the spring gobbler season. Please come to the next meeting so you can tell all the details about those trips to the woods and waters. The next dinner meeting will also recognize our club workers for the 2008-2009 period. So please make the effort and come to the last dinner meeting of the year.

This month we have had the club house painted and it has made a great improvement in our looks. We still need volunteers to help keep the area around the buildings and grounds cleaned up. So if you feel the urge to do this just bring along a trash bag and after you are done place it in the dumpster next the club house.

On June 20th 2009 the PCCA will be having an Outdoor Family Fun Day and barbecue at the PCCA in Brewer. Please see the second page of the newsletter for all the details
The work day project at the Stetson camp saw several items completed during that day. When the 24th was selected I forgot that was a holiday weekend. We will schedule another time to complete the remaining task during the spring and summer months.

At the May meeting we will give you an update of the Biggest Spring Turkey contest. There will be no speaker for the June meeting because it will be installation of ours officers and directors.
